About the role (where your magic comes in)

We’re looking for experienced Occupational Therapists who bring both clinical excellence and genuine heart.

These are hybrid roles - combine telehealth from your home (or private professional space) with community-based, face-to-face support where needed.

You’ll work with a diverse and meaningful caseload, including clients with:

• Ongoing therapeutic intervention

• Progressive neurological conditions (MS, Parkinson’s)

• Paediatric and adult clients across different life stages

• Neurodiverse clients (autism, ADHD)

• Psychosocial, intellectual and physical disabilities

We receive referrals for assessments, reports, and ongoing intervention, and we take the time to match you with clients aligned to your experience, interests and preferred demographics.

You’ll never feel like you’re working alone - ongoing client support and a collaborative clinician community are part of the deal.

Seeking Assessment Only Work?

If so, you’ll need to be skilled in specialist assessments such as:

• Complex Home Modifications

• AT Prescription and Trials

• Driving and Community Mobility Assessments

• Sensory Processing Assessments

• Cognitive Assessments, and/or

• Psychosocial Assessments

Of course, specialist expertise with assessments invite higher pay rates.

You’re confident, compassionate, and clinically sharp. You value autonomy but love being part of something bigger.

• At least 3 years of professional post-graduate experience

• AHPRA registration

• Experience working with NDIS participants / people with a disability

• Experience providing online therapy / telehealth

And, as an Independent Contractor with CARED, you’ll need:

• A private, professional workspace with reliable internet, camera & mic

• Australian Business Number - ABN

• Appropriate business insurances (Professional Indemnity – PI, and Public liability - PL)
